Lee Hartman with an Umba River Atlantic salmon
Beginnings....... In 1990 Lee Hartman first embarked to the former Soviet Union to explore uncharted Siberian rivers. Five American anglers joined the expedition in search of lenok and taimen, the world's largest salmonid. The exciting fishing expedition led to the discovery of a salmonid species never before classified. The pioneering adventure opened the door for him to fish and explore the great salmon rivers on the Kola helped him establish Indian Springs Fly Fishing company in 1992. Since that time Lee has hosted dozens of anglers each year to great fishing destinations to many parts of the world.
Indian Springs World Angling Club continues the tradition of hosting angling trips throughout the world. The Travel Club specializes in group trips of four or more people. All trips are carefully planned to assure comfortable accommodations, top guides and most importantly....a quality fishing experience. Whether you choose to fish in the wilderness regions of Russia or travel into the remote regions of Chile, you will be personally escorted by Lee or one of his staff to assure a safe and pleasant journey.
