Beginnings.......
In 1990 five Americans first embarked to the former Soviet Union to explore uncharted
Siberian rivers. Lee Hartman led the group in search of lenok and taimen, the world's
largest salmonid. The exciting Siberian fishing expedition led to the discovery of a
salmonid species never before classified. The pioneering adventure opened the door
for him to fish and explore the great salmon rivers on the Kola. Since that time Lee
formed Indian Springs Fly Fishing, Inc in 1993 and continued to host dozens of anglers
each year to great fishing destinations to many parts of the world.
Today Lee is owner of World Angling Travels that specializes in affordable group
trips of four or more people. All trips are carefully planned to assure comfortable
accommodations, top guides and most importantly....a quality fishing experience.
Whether you choose to fish in the wilderness regions of Russia or travel into British
Columbia for giant steelhead, you will personally be escorted by Lee, airport to lodge,
to assure a safe, pleasant and successful journey.
